Canon Medical Components flagship camera boasts a stunning 1,000 TV line standard Full Native HD Resolution at 1920 x 1080, 16:9 format 1080i/1080p. It outputs full HD in 3G-SDI and DVI and boasts a whole range of features including a removable IR Cut filter making it suitable for an extended range of applications. The camera is a 3-CMOS full HD IK-HD5 camera system comprised of the IK-HD5H camera head designed around brand new high-sensitivity 1/3” CMOS 2.1 MP full HD sensor technology coupled with the new feature rich 3G SDI/DVI CCU IK-HD5E. The Canon Medical Systems IKHD5H 3CMOS camera head and IK-HD5E CCU features native HD 1080 Progressive/Interlace resolution, increased sensitivity and an improved Signal/Noise ratio.
The CCU Unit IK-HD5E now includes an adjustable Knee and Clip functionality which greatly improves the camera's dynamic range. Users can expect to see sharp images and color quality in both the bright and the darker areas of the scene.Canon Medical Systems has added a 3G-SDI output (to SMPTE 242 M standards) enabling full HD 1080p as well as 1080i and DVI outputs. The IK-HD5 also includes a removable IR cut filter which can enable the camera to be used in applications such as fluorescence imaging or filming natural history documentaries under IR light.
