Global shutter captures the entire image at the same time so there is no distortion in the picture even in fast moving objects, unlike the rolling shutter where it uses repetitive scan which causes the image to be skewed or blurred.
Wide Dynamic Range
Wide dynamic range overcomes extreme light contrast of overexposed and/or underexposed images because it produces a wider range of lighting to balance the image to create the best image. Common scenarios are cameras facing out to a window or door or contrast between indoor and natural light.
Initiating the start of exposure at a particular time by the external trigger is called asynchronous reset. This function is required to acquire the best image so that object is located in correct position even when it moves at high speed.
3D Privacy Masking
By masking areas that need to remain private, sensitive areas can be protected from view. Masking areas are calculated according to zoom ratio for PTZ systems. 16 zones can be specified.
Motion detection is the process of detecting a change in the position of an object relative to its surroundings or a change in the surroundings relative to an object.
4 zones can be specified.
