Toshiba’s Complete Line of HD Industrial Cameras A Hit Among Broadcasting, Scientific Imaging and Security Industries (IK-HR1 Series)

Bringing the total number of High Definition (HD) cameras available from Toshiba Imaging to FIVE, Toshiba’s two new IK-HR1S and IK-HR1D HD cameras are quickly finding their niche in the broadcasting, medical imaging, scientific diagnostic and surveillance markets.

Not yet released except in evaluation style units, the new IK-HR1S and IK-HR1D join their existing HD counterparts, the IK-HD1C, IK-HD1E and IK-HD1D in creating a full line of High Definition camera systems ideal for high speed imaging applications that require little to no motion artifacts.

So, there are now 5 camera systems….what’s the difference between them?

The IK-HD1H Camera Head can be used with 3 different camera control units (CCUs) which determines the output you will need.

IK-HD1H Remote Camera Head:

Point of View (POV) camera ideal for sports, reality television, teaching hospitals, microscopy and pathology, homeland security.  Can also be used where brilliant, accurate high resolution color is desired, can be recorded.

**Camera Control Units listed above will determine which camera system you need as all of the above work with the same IK-HD1H Remote Camera Head.**

For functionality, the CCUs REQUIRES operation with a:

  • Camera head (IK-HD1H),
  • Power supply (AC-Y415A),
  • Cable (EXC-HD03, EXC-HD06, EXC-HD10, EXC-HD30)
  • Lens (TF15DA-8 or TF4DA-4)
