Image analysis and inspection, microscopy, surveillance and point-of view video broadcast production - all require the use of a small, high definition camera. Hitachi Kokusai Electric delivers the ideal solution: the HV-HD201, a tiny (1.9”W x 1.9”H x 2.2”D), progressive scan, multi-format 3CCD HD with CMOS camera!

Maintaining Hitachi’s superior digital signal processing technology, the HV-HD201 presents high-resolution, high sensitivity imaging with support from its multi-format interface: three 1/2 inch format CCD’s, and C-mount optics, 1.5M pixel (Actual pixels: 1440 (H) x 1080 (V)) supply high sensitivity, and a horizontal resolution of 800 TV lines (luminance channel, 1080i, HD-SDI) meets critical imaging purpose requirements.

Employing the camera’s full multi-format output, selection between several output modes is accessible to meet the needs of many imaging applications. Selectable outputs include 1080/59.94i, 1080/50i, 720/59.94p and 720/50p for the HD-SDI and analog high definition component outputs, as well as an optional HDMI connector for consumer interface. A standard definition VBS and Y/C switchable output between 480/59.94i and 576/60i is also an incorporated feature.

Included with the HV-HD201 camera is a standard 5.5-meter detachable cable connecting the head to the CCU, and an optional 10-meter cable is available for applications where greater separation between the head and CCU is needed. The Automatic Gain Control (AGC) feature is also included, with programmable gain in 1db steps, plus ARIB Color Bars, SD memory card for user storage and recall for factory camera setup information, and a six-vector, color-independent variable masking capability.

Maintaining the appropriate video level can be achieved through the use of an Auto Electronic Shutter (AES) mode for bright scenes, and an intelligent Auto Level Control (ALC) for dark scenes. When high color reproduction and image quality are priorities, the Hitachi HV-HD 201cameras’s 12-vector color corrector with independent hue and saturation levels, gives the user the ability to achieve absolute accurate color reproduction, extremely vital in microscopy, medical and broadcast applications.

Set-up is easy, with four available user files, and presets that can be stored on an SD memory card. Operating parameters and adjustments can be controlled remotely on a personal computer, or an optional (Hitachi) remote control unit.

Your distributor for the Hitachi HV-HD201 progressive scan camera, Aegis Electronic Group, Inc offers this camera for $11,585.00, which includes the 5.5-meter detachable cable.
