IK-HD5 Camera and IK-HD5UM Camera Control Unit are refining modern medical monitoring.

IK-HD5 by Toshiba is the newest 3-CMOS (Metal Oxide Semiconductor), ½.9 inch, 1080p, full-High Definition (HD) progressive scan camera. Complete with DVI-D (Digital Video Interface-Digital) and USB 3.o outputs, it is founded on Toshiba’s state-of-the-art prism block technology, allowing ideal color accuracy, high resolution, and increased sensitivity, due to its three-chip performance. Packed with extraordinary user-controlled features, it also uses advanced noise reduction technology.

Meeting all IEC 6060-1 3rd edition Medical Design Standards, Radiology Business reported that Toshiba debuted the IK-HD5 video camera in 2016, for use in “in surgical microscopy, endoscopy, surgical light camera integration, or surgical room monitoring and surveillance, and other non-patient contact and non-diagnostic imaging applications.” This camera is also compatible for defense imaging systems. In addition to the IK-HD5 excelling in the medical field, it also is able to deliver exceedingly detailed references for education and documentation in real-time. Its three-chip function, thanks to Toshiba’s proprietary prism block technology, allows the IK-HD5 to excel in video with precise sensitivity, ideal color reproduction and well-defined details. Offering enhanced near-infrared (IR) spectrums, the IK-HD5 supports applications which use fluorescing agents such as ICG (Impedance Cardiography). This noninvasive technology, measures total electrical conductivity of the thorax in time to continuously process a number of cardio-dynamic parameters. Included in its talent for near-infrared fields, are its removable optical low pass filter, and increased menu functions for red filter IR mode. Delivering switchable output between full-HD (High Definition) video in visible and near-infrared spectrums, it provides nearly 3dB increased sensitivity in near IR. This extremely compact HD video camera is 1.28" x 1.52" x 1.61" inches x 1.52 inches x 1.61 inches (32.6mm H: 38.6 mm D: 41 mm) in size, and weighs a mere 3.3 ounces. With both horizontal and vertical resolution of 1000 TV lines standard, this camera is able to detect and record accurate, detailed images.
